Privacy

Short version: the plugins collect nothing, the site sets no cookies and doesn't track you, and the letter keeps only your email address until you leave.

Draft for review, 21 October 2026.

Who

Valle Instruments is run by Ole, in Norway. Write to support@valleinstruments.com about anything here.

The plugins

Solina-74 and SEM-74 don't connect to the internet. They don't collect, send or store anything about you. Your presets and settings stay in your Documents folder.

This website

No cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no fonts or scripts from other companies. The site is served by Cloudflare, which handles each request (your IP address, browser and the page asked for) to deliver it and to keep the site safe from attacks, and keeps short-lived logs to do so. Downloads come from Cloudflare R2 in the same way.

The letter

If you sign up, I keep your email address, when you signed up and when you confirmed, so I can send you the letter. That's all. Your consent is the basis: you give it by confirming, and take it back by leaving.

• The list is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. The letters are sent through Resend, which handles your address only to deliver them.
• Letters have no tracking pixels and no tracked links.
• An address that isn't confirmed within a week is deleted.
• Every letter has a link to leave. Leaving deletes your address at once.

Discord

The Discord server is run on Discord, under Discord's own privacy policy. Joining it is up to you.

Your rights

You can ask what I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and complain to your data protection authority (in Norway, Datatilsynet).
